# User Tutorial （General）

**`Accessing and using Macaron is seamless and easy.`** 

**Follow the steps here, enjoy your trading and earn profits, share of trading fees, Bitlayer Points and Macaron Points!** 

1. Visit Macaron Website: <https://www.macaron.xyz/#/>
2. Before any engagement, make sure that you connected to the wallets supported.

Also, please make sure that you are running Macaron app using the right network. Macaron is currently running on [Bitlayer mainnet](https://docs.bitlayer.org/docs/Build/QuickStart/), so you can check the following for the RPC and chain setups:

3. Swap is for trading assets supported on Macaron, namely buying and selling. After connecting your wallet, you can choose to use the Swap function of Macaron. Your wallet balance will be displayed when wallet connected. Choose the trading pair and click swap.&#x20;

Then, you can swap tokens between various trading pairs as shown below. They are simple steps just like alike AMM-based exchanges.&#x20;

**`Attention: Macaron suggests that users can set the Slippage ratio between 0.3% - 0.5% for faster swapping while avoiding losses.`**&#x20;

4. LP Pool

LP Pools are for projects, users to create and add liquidity to the assets supported on Macaron. By contributing and providing liquidity, Macaron users will enjoy a basket of rewards, namely our tokens, Bitlayer points and Macaron points!&#x20;

5. In order to show users the status of their tradings and LP Pools, we offer the Analytics page for users to track and get updated.  APR data of various pools will also be displayed here.&#x20;

Click on "Analytics", and you will find all the info you want and need.&#x20;
